CHANGES TO MY STUDY PROGRAMME

 

Hello!

Today I´m going to tell you about some changes that can be made to my study programme.

Im a secon year student of Public Administration at Universidad de Chile. My major is dynamic, you have a bit of everything, and you develop in a very holistic way. I really like the curriculum of my career, so I wouldn´t change anything about it. The thing I would like to change are the magisters. The career has only two masters in two different subjects: political science and management. I think that the public administration universe´s is  big, there are so many things to do, so it is necessary create more masters.

About the workload and legth of studies, my major during 5 years. I think is a good time to study because experience will always be the best knowledge you can have. Because the dynamism of the career the work you can do is great, you can literally  work n everything, doing many things. The spectrum is very wide. For this reason the workload is a bit heavy but we have acvocation and helping people fulfils us.

Public Administration shares a building with a new degree programme called “Ciencias Políticas”, in the “Escuela de Gobierno y Gestión Pública” (EGGP). This is a small building for many students that we are. For me its not a nice building, it is old and cold but I like it. I think is cosy.

My major does not use a loto g technology  but because of covid-19 the managers had to use more technology and now we have mores technology in our  “EGGP”.

I think that the teaching methods are very common. But the most important thing is that the teachers try to share their experience with us, because in Public Administration, experience is all.
